THE CONFLICT & DIALOGUE PROGRAMME

Academy for Discourse and Dialogue

The overall objective of the Conflict and Dialogue programme is to encourage public deliberations, enhance public discourse and dialogue in the East and Horn of Africa.

More specifically is to influence the background cultures in relation to the official cultures by addressing substantive normative issues and to contribute to the resolution of normative conflicts which are crucial to peace and the welfare of the people in the East and Horn of Africa by addressing the basic human value problems underlying such conflicts.

Interventions are carried out through regular peace forums, regional and national meetings and consultations.
