HEINRICH BÖLL STIFTUNG

Its Work Abroad

Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, Heinrich Böll Stiftung is a political non-profit Foundation affiliated to the party of Alliance 90 / The Greens. Striving to promote democratic ideas, civil society and international understanding, the work of the Heinrich Böll Stiftung centers on the core political values of ecology, democracy, solidarity and non-violence.

The key themes of the Foundation's international work are "Affirmative Action for Women and Gender Democracy", "Ecology and Sustainable Development", "The Development of Democracy, Human Rights and Peace", "Media and Critical Public Debate" and "Culture and Development".

The Foundation is represented worldwide by Regional offices as follows:
Offices in Asia (Chiang Mai (Thailand), India, Pakistan, Cambodia); Beirut (Middle East Office); Berlin (Germany); Brussels (EU); Caucasus (Tblissi); China; Israel (Tel Aviv); Offices in Latin America (Mexico, San Salvador, Rio de Janeiro); Moscow; Nigeria (Lagos); North America (Washington); Poland (Warsaw); Southern Africa (Johannesburg).
